Thanks to a kind contributor named Angela for sharing her dog-friendly experience.
My Family and pooch recently visited this park in the school holidays and can’t speak highly enough of it. This caravan park is set on a cattle station of approx 800acres.
It is approx 25 minutes north of Echuca and is set in bush land and along the Murray River.
Lots to do with the kids, swimming pool, 2 holes of golf, mini golf, tennis and a playground, an oval for playing footy. Kids take your bikes. Also take fishing rods.
Any pet is most welcome at this resort, we had a cabin that overlooked the river. It was fenced in and the best thing was our dog was allowed inside the cabin. Dogs are on leash within the park grounds, but once on the property there are couple of walking tracks that you can let your dog off leash. We spent many a lazy morning just walking our dog then laying by the pool or playing golf etc..
The staff are super friendly and there is a small kiosk that is open everyday.
One day we drove in to Echuca and went on a paddle steamer and our dog was most welcome to come along for the ride. The Bahama state forest is nearby good for seeing some emus. Bahama has a lovely little pub, great food, make sure you are there on a Friday for the meat raffle!
Reasonable price. Friendly atmosphere, would highly recommend it.
